GDPR Certification & CE Marking under the AI Act: Where Do They Really Meet?
A DAPROLAB session on GDPR certification and CE marking under the AI Act will take place on 14 October 2026, from 14:00 to 16:30, at the Twist Building in Belval, Luxembourg.
Our colleague Vasiliki Tsiompanidou, Legal Project Manager at the European Center for Certification and Privacy, will join fellow experts and practitioners for a DAPROLAB session hosted by CNPD – Commission nationale pour la protection des données.
The discussion will explore how these two frameworks fit together, where they overlap and diverge, and where compliance efforts can be streamlined.
Designed as a working dialogue, the session will address practical documentation challenges and draw on participants’ experience of navigating both regimes.
Together with Dr. Carsten Ullrich, Ekkehard Babion and Bernard Motro, in a discussion moderated by Elena-Cristina Gerth, she will explore overlaps, differences and practical documentation challenges across the two frameworks.
