The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has formally reviewed and approved the Interprivacy (IP-CS.1) certification scheme as adequate for accredited certification worldwide. Interprivacy is an international standard to certify compliance with the main obligations of major personal data protection regulations across the world, including:

▶ Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (Convention 108+) of the Council of Europe
▶ Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules (CBPR) Framework and APEC Privacy Framework
▶ EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF)
▶ ASEAN Framework for Data Protection
▶ Personal Data Protection Standards for Ibero-American States
▶ African Union Convention on Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection (Malabo Convention)
Interprivacy criteria and methodology are closely aligned with Europrivacy, the official European Data Protection Seal under Art. 42 GDPR, but remain geographically neutral.
